fitté is operated by Blazefield Labs DOOEL, a company registered in Skopje, North Macedonia ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the fitté mobile application (the "App"). fitté is a personal style system designed to help users turn visual inspiration into structured, personalized style guidance.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

A. Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Full name
  • Password (securely hashed; never stored in plain text)
  • Age group
  • Fashion interest preferences
  • Shopping country preference
  • Profile photo (optional)

B. User Content

To provide core features of the App, we collect content you choose to upload or create, including:

  • Outfit photos
  • Inspiration images
  • Style profiles ("Fittés")
  • Saved looks and lookbook items
  • Outfit feedback submissions
  • Style combinations
  • Shopping-related selections

C. Usage & Analytics Information

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) to collect analytics data such as:

  • Feature usage patterns
  • Screen views
  • Navigation behavior
  • App lifecycle events
  • Error and crash reports
  • App version and device type

Session replay and automatic content capture are disabled. Analytics data is linked to your account ID for product improvement purposes.

D. Device & Technical Information

We automatically collect limited technical information, including:

  • Device type (iOS or Android)
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • Language and locale settings
  • Secure session tokens

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Build and maintain your personalized style profile ("Fitté")
  • Analyze uploaded images to generate style insights and recommendations
  • Provide outfit feedback and look generation
  • Curate personalized shopping suggestions
  • Process and manage subscriptions
  • Improve app performance and features
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

Image Processing

User-uploaded images are processed through secure third-party AI providers (including OpenAI and Google services accessed via OpenRouter) solely to generate personalized style outputs.

Your content is not used by us to train artificial intelligence models.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data.

We share limited information only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App:

Backend & Infrastructure

Appwrite (EU-based cloud infrastructure) for authentication, databases, and file storage

Analytics

PostHog (EU servers) for product analytics

AI Processing

OpenAI and Google services via OpenRouter for image and style analysis

Payments & Subscriptions

Apple App Store and Google Play for payment processing

RevenueCat for subscription status management

We do not:

  • Sell data to advertisers
  • Share data with advertising networks
  • Use cross-app tracking
  • Share data with social media platforms

Shopping links open externally in your device browser. We do not share personal data with retailers beyond the act of opening a link.

4. Payments & Subscription Information

  • All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • We do not store credit card or billing information.
  • RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase validation data to manage your subscription access.
  • Subscriptions can be managed directly through your Apple or Google account settings.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data Hosting

User data is stored on Appwrite cloud infrastructure hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt region).

Security Measures

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted file uploads
  • Secure password hashing
  • Secure session token management
  • Restricted database access controls

While we implement reasonable security safeguards, no system is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account remains active.

If you delete your account:

  • Your personal data, uploaded content, and associated records are permanently deleted from active systems.
  • Encrypted system backups may retain data for up to 7 days before automatic expiration.
  • Temporary cache data may persist locally on your device for limited periods.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are located in the European Union or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity – to create and manage your account, provide App features, deliver AI-generated style analysis, and manage subscription services;
  • Legitimate interests – to improve product functionality, ensure security, prevent fraud, and maintain system integrity;
  • Legal obligations – where processing is required to comply with applicable law;
  • Consent - where required by law.

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Blazefield Labs DOOEL, registered in Skopje, North Macedonia, is the data controller of your personal information.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Request data portability

You may delete your account directly within the App. Account deletion permanently removes associated data (subject to limited backup retention described above).

9. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

Our servers are located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). If you access the App from outside the EU, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the EU.

By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the EU and acknowledge that EU data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If material changes are made, we will notify users through the App or by other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
